Hey, you!
My name is Stasia. I am a graphic brand designer. Most of my life I spend in the digital environment. That's why it was important for me to find a tactile hobby. A activity that involves me as much as possible in the moment and takes away all my thoughts about tasks, projects and relationships. Clothing design became the solution. And I was happy to fully show my creative flow in the conceptual project for Ukrainian Fashion Week.
idea and moodboard
The theme of my work was sports racing cars + modern technologies. I tried to draw in the theme of architecture and nature, but the sophistication and simplicity of these forms led me only to existing concepts. That could be good for everyday wear, but not as good for a fashion show. Racing cars are rough, brutal, fast and expressive. At the same time, modern cars begin to look more natural due to their streamlining and elegance. It is perfect contrasting combination of characteristics that inspires me to the maximum in my work now.

It is the process of turning one product into another to prevent overproduction of materials and reduce the amount of waste on the planet. I like to work with ready-made material. This is a conscious approach to production + excellent starting conditions for building a composition. The lines that were already made in the jackets helped me organically fit in new design elements.
